S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Vanessa Johnson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love talking to people, and helping in any way I can to bring someone out of the darkness into the light. I feel a sense of urgency to get God’s word out to as many people as possible so they don’t get left behind.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know first hand how it feels to be down and out and feel like not one person cares about me, and to forget about God’s love so I don’t want anyone to feel like that. If I can remind/teach someone that leaning on God can lift all their burdens and bring joy into their lives I want to do.

#3 Gift, Serving (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have not always been good at serving, but I know in my heart that it takes all of us, all of the time, to get things done. From now on I will do whatever needs to be done to help.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. The one thing that makes me happiest is when someone (especially young people) gets saved, or gets a breakthrough. I cry a lot when I see this because I think it is the most beautiful thing in the world.

2. I love to socialize with my church, with people that think and act in a Godly manner ( I love to socialize with my friends and family too but sometimes it is not as fulfilling.

3. I love to learn more about God. I appreciate the classes and the Word brought to us in each service.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I’m looking forward to working with singles. Eventually, though I believe I will be working in some capacity with young people for my heart is to lead them to Christ early to avoid some of the mess I had to go through.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I do enjoy greeting, but have always wanted to work the Altar (not sure why?) I think I will enjoy Connections and of course I’m excited about Singles

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was living the wild life and a person I worked with asked me to come to church

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Waco Christian Fellowship – I was somewhat involved with the Singles Ministry – don’t remember what year but only a few months. I was too new Christianity to be of any good to anyone except inviting people

I ushered at the Benny Hinn Conference when at the Colosseum – still too new but it was a good experience

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I learn a lot of good things from Pastor Robert Henderson

I learned a lot from Apostle Jeremy

Ministry from Pastors Jeanie and Brandon has been essential in my learning and growing

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

There was some bad things that happened at Waco Christian Fellowship (not of their doing) but I can now look back and see what part I played, and how my choices affected other Christians.

My sister and my niece’s drug addiction, loss of children, me taking responsibility of said children gave me plenty of insight on all fronts

My multiple marriages, divorces, and relationships have taught me tons of things.
