S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Melissa Smith for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #3 Gift, Teaching (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a passion for Scripture. I want to know more, it has changed my life when I have yielded to it and while sometimes difficult to share with others, I feel it is very important to know and obey the authority of scripture.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Giving- to our local church, but in being obedient to give whenever I feel God’s leading to do so- even if there isn’t a tax write off.

2. I love to learn about scripture, how it is intended for it’s listeners and how the Holy Spirit wants to use it in me.

3. I love to share my passion for healthy living,- mind, body and soul with eating, exercising, wholistic/Biblical remedies. There is just so much correlation between our physical bodies and our spiritual bodies. When one is out of sync, the other will be as well.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

adults, those willing to make changes to their lives in working towards righteousness.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I love serving in the children’s ministry, I know the importance and the value of it. I also understand the importance of scripture in our everyday lives.
Not sure if a Bible study is a right fit, but I do have a passion for Scripture and learning it.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
