[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love my family and being a father. Seeing my kids at church with friends, singing songs, and learning Gods word bring me joy.

2. I love God and have a strong sense of “It is what it is” and that God has a plan for me and guides me. I have had dark moments in life and through faith, I have come out of them. This makes me feel good.

3. I love to work and complete tasks. Not all work is fun but getting things done brings me a lot of satisfaction.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

In my opinion, each age level has their pros and cons. I love kids and working with them but also like working with adults. I like to learn from others.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Nothing comes to mind at this time – I like the feeling of serving and feel honored to do so.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church and it has always been something that has been a part of my life. My parents have led me to church and after living a part of my life without it, I just feel better about everything when I am going to church, listening to K-Love, and engaged in being a good christian.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My parents and grandparents have been great role models for me as Christians and people

Meeting my wife and starting a family

The last one was hard to come up with – I think there are a series of events with friends that have made these people important to me, my life, and who I am today

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce

Marijuana. I used to use it a lot after my divorce and learning to face the world, raise myself up, and be the person I dreamed of being as a young kid.

Death – just seeing close family members pass is an extremely tough time but gives me the ability to see the value in what I have

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Work – I love what I do and being dedicated feeds the goals I have in my life

4. Travel and enjoying the world with my family

5. Friends – keeping relationships with those close to me
