#1 Gift, Administration (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
i find it very uncomfortable to sit and watch things go wrong in church, i am always at the forefront to ensure that all systems are functioning well in a systematic manner. I am not shy to point out anything that seems not to move well. I am the scribe among my peers, i enjoy jotting down minutes, sermon notes, quotes as well as any key points from nay sermon/talk. I work well with most people and i am able to position them on duty in line with their giftings. I a m keen to identify the strengths of the people i work with and help them align their duties to their strengths.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to engage with people who are downcast/trodden and encourage them, inspire them and speak hope to them. My work in the market place involves working with young people who do not have focus, are suffering in drugs and other addictions and i love to encourage them, inspire them and help them know that they are able to make it in life. this i do with a lot of ease and i truly enjoy it.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am not shy to speak openly of God, i have boldness and courage to speak to people about God. I do it one on one as well as in groups. i get invitations to youth services as well as women groups and i easily deliver the word of God. i am able to relate scripture to every day life and i am happy to do so when called upon. I even look for opportunities that allow me to speak about God.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Speaking to youth and women on Life purpose, Personalities, Career and Entrepreneurship. My prayer is that one day i will move from country to country, county to county, town to town with a full calendar of speaking engagements/coaching and training programs geared towards helping young people to DISCOVER themselves and be aware of who they really are in line with their Strengths, Abilities and Opportunities and how God created them, CLARIFY their life purpose by knowing their God- given value, setting goals and knowing their life mission and to DELIVER value to their target audience that they were made to serve.

2. Crafting Cards, wall hangings, gift items and other handcrafted decor. I love art, my alone time crafting and working in art gives me pure joy. It helps me to relax my mind by bring out something aesthetic as well as functional through recreation.

3. Social media marketing:Lately i have realized that i enjoy generating leads, building brand awareness as well as establishing strategic partnerships on the social media platforms specifically LinkedIn, Facebook and Whatsapp. I spend a couple of hours everyday doing this and it is very fulfilling. Content development has become one of the things i do with lots of ease and joy lately and i love it.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I got saved in Primary school at class five. A great sermon was preached and this is the first time remember making a ‘firm’ decision to be saved. I had previously ,gotten saved’ every time an alter call was made but after this one in class five i stood.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Kimbo Methodist Church: Right from Sunday school to youth i was a leader. I sang in the choir, was in drama and led the other children and young people. St. Mary’s Girls High School: CU official : i sang in a choir called Fortress, and participated in CU that led mucic at assembly.

Kariokor Methodist Church: Youth Secretary. I was a youth leader and i was in the choir, drama and organized many events for youth.

CITAM Woodley: Safari group Assistant Leader, Friend of Youth/Youth worker in the youth Ministry.
CITAM Kikuyu Town Church: Church leadership team, Hospitality and protocol, Youth.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Getting married to a loving and supportive husband.

Discovering my passion for the youth early and having opportunities to pursue it

Having the privilege to go to school/college/university and acquire an education

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my job at the bank and being able to start a journey to discover God more deeply and my abilities and giftings that have enabled me to excel at my work.

Lose of opportunities that i hoped to get but they didn’t come through and this led me to reflect very deeply to know that this wasn’t God’s will for me and also that they are not aligned to my purpose.

Slow but sure acquiring of the things i desire for deeply for example a home, a car and other achievements. This have made me know that God’s timing is always the best and to just do my best and leave the best to God. Also to appreciate the fact that there is a difference between needs and wants!

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Work work with the youth of the world in helping them to DISCOVER themselves and be aware of who they really are in line with their Strengths, Abilities and Opportunities, CLARIFY their life purpose by knowing their values, setting goals and knowing their life mission and to DELIVER value to their target audience that they were made to serve.

4. Build a big Kingdom business Organisation that deals with handcrafted home decor items that are made out of recycled and natural items locally available. This would employ the young people in my network especially those that are artistically gifted or those that can be trained to produce the items, others would market and others would manage the organisation.

5. Build Christian University in Kiambu: Specifically the larger Kikuyu area that will train in Art (Visual and Performing Arts) and entrepreneurship, form an art marketplace, the like of Jumia/Etsy for African art where the students can sell their merchandise and have an Association for Art and Entrepreneurship that is able to loby for good policies that support the art that comes from the students in the university.
