S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Erika Jones for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I understand that the life I live is not my own. In addition, God has shown himself strong in my life in many ways. Life has landed me in situations that I know had it not been for God, who showed me a way of escape, I would be dead or mentally challenged. My encouragement and exhortation is from my heart and soul, it’s evidence that can give me a confidence to help someone else be delivered or set free.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
When I see people in need, hurting, sick, abused, addicted, or just in a dark place, I feel like I have a responsibility to give them some good news, provide resources and connect them with services that can help bring them to a place of mental and spiritual freedom.

#3 Gift, Serving (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know the true value of being a part of a vision of a Pastor and know serving is a contribution to that vision. Serving is ministry and it places you in position to be light in the mist of darkness. However, I have become comfortable to be a servant behind the curtain.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Encouraging hurting women/girls.

2. Being resourceful in all areas, because I want to help the people with their situations, so they can receive the Word of God and don’t have a sounding board bouncing off the back. I was taught to feed the need and then their soul will become hungry.

3. Encouraging married couples how to trust God their marriage. I truly believe if God can pay my bill, I can allow Holy Spirit to take me captive to win my spouse to Christ.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

He’s opened doors that I know only he could have opened

He saved my baby that was very premature.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:
