[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Giving to people that want to grow and are willing to work for it and not just ask for hand outs. I give of my time to assist them improve themselves too if needed.

2. Where there are people battling financially I will give to them without their knowing who it comes from if I am in a position to do so.

3. I enjoy bringing people of different races, beliefs and backgrounds together to be friends.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

More mature people but not “old”, people that are just moving into realizing that they are no longer young and have to come to terms with that. Also their having to deal with the fact that they are responsible to ensure their future happiness and accept that it is not dependent upon other.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Missionary work amongst young children outside of the church environment.
That the body of the church realize that they are one. That it is alright to differ in opinion – that is what families do but at the end of the day we are one in one.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

In High School I came to accept Jesus as my Saviour and started up a bible study group to meet once a week.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

CSSM a Christian Youth group that arranged holiday camps in Somerset West, Cape in the 1970’s. Junior Sunday School teacher – Methodist Church, Windhoek in 1974/75

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being given a husband who also believed.

Knowing that my mother and father also believed and that they lived by example, i.e. one can see it they way they live and all that they do.

Being accepted in the N G Kerk even though I am English speaking.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Learning that when you ask God to give you a sign, he does answer even though it is not the answer that you wanted.

Learning that no matter how you thanked God for what you have it is no guarantee that things can’t go wrong.
