Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up at a Baptist church and accepted Christ as a child. High School years were very formidable with our youth group. I feel I fully understood the gospel as an adult after taking a class called “The Unfolding Mystery of Redemption” which helped me see the need for a savior and how we can’t do it on our own.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Children’s ministry in Santa Maria, CA. Bob and I started the Children’s church program at a small church there after learning skills at our former church in Rancho Cucamonga, CA served there for several years.

Royal Family Kids of Northern Santa Barbara County, CA. I served as a camp counselor, “Aunty”, and other roles for 8 years. I co directed the mentoring program for 2 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Church youth group in High School helped me become very grounded in Christ. Going to Mexico with them to serve for a week in the summer was a big impact on my life.

My mother and sister both were a very big part of my life, and my sister still is. they both supported me through thick and thin.

The way our move to Colorado came together, I feel it was divinely shaped and showed me how much God cares for our needs

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My youngest son’s wanderings and experimenting with marijuana in high school were very hard years for me. But God sustained me through this time and I have learned so much about myself through these experiences.

my grandson going through cancer and chemo a couple years ago

When Bob had his open heart surgery, we had not lived here very long, and God sustained me through this. It was very hard letting go because of my knowledge of what he was going to go through, and being in a place I did not know any of the doctors was very challenging
