#1 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy talking to people about the Lord and what he has done for me. I enjoy explain how his word is relevant today even though it was written centuries ago. How following His word can only change your life for the better.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
The life that I have lived has shown me a lot of things and I think God allowed me to go through these things so that I can relate to a lot of people and be a source of encouragement for them. People who are going through things like to talk to some one who can relate to what they are going to through. And by telling my story and explaining how God has bought me through, hopefully it will show others that God’s grace and mercy is there for everyone.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I firmly belive in God’s word and what He says He will do, He will do. He never has fallen short on His word. Now He may not come we want, but He does come right on time.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I enjoy helping others, at the food pantry, the patients that I work with at work, and my children in children’s church. I truly think that was what I was placed here to do. I am happiest when I am helping people.

2. I enjoy pouring into people when they are discouraged and down, and then watching them rebound when the joy of the Lord comes into their heart.

3. Lastly I love being with my family. They are the source of my joy.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I enjoy working with young people because their minds are still forming and open to understand who God is. We get to plant and nurture the seed that grows into a love for God that will mature into a relationship with God

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I wish there were more activities for the youth outside of Children’s church so that they can get to know one another and get to know God more

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian as a child through my mother and my upbringing. I went to private christian school in elementary school and was immersed in Christianity as a child. I strayed as a teenager and ran the streets and did a lot of things that would not be considered Christian like. I came back to the church and was hurt by the church. I swore that I would never return to church again because of how the church treated my family when they claimed they were supposed to be helping my family. Long story short, my family rented a home from the church which was infected with mold. The correction of mold was only supposed to take 2 weeks, but 6 months later we were still staying with relatives. The church left my family homeless and we loss everything because the mold destroyed all our belongings and the church gave us nothing. I swore I would never go to church again. A friend invited me to church of her birthday and I went. The sermon the minister preached was like he was talking directly to me. He walked up to me and said “God said it’s time to come back home.”, and I re-dedicated my life back to Christ that day in Feb 2009.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

At Charles Street Church Boston, MA I was on the Young Women’s Teens prison ministry
